Adding Cost to Products
Learn how to associate vendors and unit prices with products.
Adding a cost to products requires linking them to a vendor.
For details on creating and managing vendors, see the Vendors section of this documentation.
Note:
Product cost can only be added from the website.
Add a Product Cost
- Navigate to the Inventory tab and select the product you want to edit.
- Scroll to the Vendor and Cost section and select Add Vendor.
- Search for the vendor you want to associate with the product.
- Enter a value in the Unit Price field.
- Click Add to save the vendor and cost.
Notes
- Once a vendor and cost have been added, the product can be added to the shopping cart.
- You may also set a Unit Price of 0 if you want to associate a vendor with a product without tracking cost.
