Adding Products

Learn how to add products to your inventory on web and mobile.

You can add products to your inventory in multiple ways: by importing them from a URL using our AI tool, entering them manually, or creating them directly from the mobile app.

Note:

If your products are stored in a spreadsheet, our customer support team can import them for you. Please contact us.

Note:

Only users with Editor permission or above can add and edit products.

Add Products on the Web

Import Products by URL

Our AI-powered import tool makes it easy to add products without manual entry.

Load from URL

  1. Navigate to the Inventory tab and select New Custom Product.
  2. Paste the URL of a product page from one of your preferred vendors.
  3. Tookstock’s AI will collect and pre-fill product details for you.
    • While waiting, you can paste in another URL to continue adding products.
  4. Review and edit the product details once they load.
  5. Press Save to finish adding the product.

Once saved, the product will be available in the Inventory tab on both the web and mobile app.

Add Products Manually

Manually add product

  1. Navigate to the Inventory tab and select New Custom Product.
  2. Click Enter Product Manually at the top right.
  3. Enter a title, and optionally a description and image.
  4. Click Create Product to save and view the product.
  5. After creation, you can add more details such as:
    • Category tags
    • Barcode
    • Vendor and price
    • And more

Add Products from the Mobile App

  1. Navigate to the Inventory tab.
  2. Press the + button at the bottom right and select Create Custom Product.
  3. Enter a title, and optionally a description and image.
  4. Click Create to save and view the product.
  5. Once created, you can scan and assign a barcode to the product using your device’s camera.
    • Additional details like category tags, vendors, and pricing can be added later from the web app.
