Adding Cost to Products

Learn how to associate vendors and unit prices with products.

Adding a cost to products requires linking them to a vendor.
For details on creating and managing vendors, see the Vendors section of this documentation.

Note:

Product cost can only be added from the website.

Add a Product Cost

  1. Navigate to the Inventory tab and select the product you want to edit.
  2. Scroll to the Vendor and Cost section and select Add Vendor.
  3. Search for the vendor you want to associate with the product.
  4. Enter a value in the Unit Price field.
  5. Click Add to save the vendor and cost.

Notes

  • Once a vendor and cost have been added, the product can be added to the shopping cart.
  • You may also set a Unit Price of 0 if you want to associate a vendor with a product without tracking cost.
